The personal appearance of students at Advent Lutheran School should be modest and reflect a humble demeanor, as is fitting for a Christian school.  The uniform helps inculcate a sense of harmony with the school and frees students and their families from concerns about style so that they can focus on the school’s mission.   

Boys: 

• Solid color collared shirt (polo or buttoned) in light blue, navy blue, light yellow or white; all shirts (except sweaters/sweatshirts) need to be tucked in.  

• One shirt must have the Advent logo embroidered. Village Embroidery in Zionsville is set up for this.  

• Flat front pants or shorts in khaki or navy blue. No corduroy, cargo, or pleats  

• Brown or navy belt   

• Solid color white, gray, black or blue socks  

• Sneakers or loafers  

 

Girls:  

• Solid color feminine fit collared shirt (polo or buttoned) in light blue, navy blue, light yellow or white; all shirts (except sweaters/sweatshirts) need to be tucked in.  

• One shirt must have the Advent logo embroidered. Village Embroidery in Zionsville is set up for this.  

• Flat front pants or shorts in khaki or navy blue. No corduroy, cargo, pleats or leggings.   

• Solid color feminine fit collared (polo) dress in light blue, navy blue, light yellow or white. The dress must be at least as long as the tip of the student’s fingers when arms are down to her side.  

• Skirt or skort in khaki, navy blue, or plaid. The skirt/skort must be at least as long as the tip of the student’s fingers when arms are down to her side.  

• Jumper in khaki, navy blue, or plaid. The jumper must be at least as long as the tip of the student’s fingers when arms are down to her side.  

• Solid color white, gray, black or blue socks, tights, or leggings 

• Advent’s school plaid is Lands End Clear Blue Plaid
